About Park2Do

Park2Do brings together everything you want to know on the road as a campervan traveller, on one map: the weather for the coming days, places to spend the night and the best sights nearby.

Why this map?

Travelling through Europe by camper, you usually plan day by day. Where will it be dry tomorrow? Where is a nice spot for the night? And what is there to do around here? Normally that takes three or four apps. Park2Do shows it at a glance, also on your phone or iPad.

How it works

1. Weather up to 9 days ahead

The map shows the expected weather per town. Use the timeline at the bottom to move through the next 48 hours (hourly) or the next 9 days. Tap a weather icon for details such as wind, chance of rain and humidity. Forecasts come from MET Norway (the Norwegian Meteorological Institute, known from yr.no), licensed CC BY 4.0.

2. Camper spots

The Camper spots button shows motorhome areas, car parks, campsites and service areas in the visible map area. Use the filter to choose which types you want to see.

3. Smart selection of sights

The Activities button finds the best things to do in the area you see on the map. It is not just about the highest score. We also look at:

Results appear in a bar you can scroll through. On your phone it sits at the bottom, on a landscape iPad or computer at the side. The spot in the middle of the bar lights up on the map. Swipe the bar away when you don't need it.

Tips for your camper trip

Plan with the weather

Look a few days ahead and plan your route around the dry days. Set the timeline to the day you arrive somewhere and then search for sights: the selection takes that day's weather into account.

Mind the wind

For campers and caravans strong wind is often harder than rain. Tap a weather icon to see the expected wind speed, especially before bridges, dykes or mountain passes.

Check the local rules

Wild camping and overnight parking are regulated in many countries. Read the description and reviews of a spot and follow local signs and bans.

Travel sustainably

Leave no litter, empty your chemical toilet only at a service area and be sparing with water, so beautiful places stay open to the next traveller.
