Privacy and cookie policy

Park2Do ("we") is operated by Twiks Media. This policy explains which data we process when you use the website and why.

Which data do we process?

Third-party services

To show the map your browser loads data from the following parties, which see your IP address:

Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)

We show ads through Google AdSense to keep the website free. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar techniques to show and measure ads and, with your consent, to tailor ads to your interests and previous visits to this and other websites.

Account (My Park2Do)

An account is optional. If you create one, we store only your e-mail address, your language, the time of your last login and what you save yourself: favourite spots and activities, routes and (with Pro) trip plans. We store no password: you log in with a one-time 6-digit code sent by e-mail. Codes are valid for 10 minutes and are stored hashed. Your session stays valid for 30 days through a cookie (p2d_s) used only for this purpose.

For a Pro subscription we record the payment (amount, date, order number); the payment details themselves stay with the payment provider (Mollie). For invoicing, the order is also processed in our web shop administration.

To learn which features users look for, we count anonymously how often a locked feature is tapped; this cannot be traced to a person. We do not keep a location history.

Under My Park2Do → Settings you can download all your data (JSON) at any time and delete your account immediately and permanently. We delete accounts that have not been used for 24 months.

Retention and security

We keep statistics no longer than needed to improve the website, and at most 24 months. Data is stored on a secured server and is not publicly accessible.

Your rights

You may ask us which data we hold about you, and request correction or deletion. You can also object to the processing. Contact us at info@twiks.nl. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or your local supervisory authority.
